Hello, hello! I'm just back from visiting my husband's family on Long Island, New York, and tomorrow I head out again -- this time to Ouje-Bougoumou in northern Quebec. I'm getting pretty excited about the upcoming adventure. I'm going there with my friend photographer Monique Dykstra (just call us "the two Moniques"!!) and we'll be working with students as part of theBlue Metropolis Literary Foundation's Quebec Roots project. I'll be working with the students on their writing; Monique D will be helping them with their photos. We Moniques are due home on Wednesday night, so I may not report back to the blog until Thursday, but I imagine I'll have lots to tell you by then. Hey, there's a wonderful review of What World Is Left in an online literary journal called Rover. Here's the URL if you want to check it out: http://roverarts.com/category/books/
